iAssist NI’s “One Stop Access to Health” Workshops: Empowering Our Community

At iAssist NI, we are dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of everyone in our community. We are thrilled to share the success of our ongoing project, the “One Stop Access to Health” workshops, a series of vital sessions designed to provide direct access to crucial health information and support.

These workshops have become a cornerstone of our community outreach, focusing on a wide range of pressing health challenges. We’ve had the privilege of hosting sessions dedicated to raising awareness and providing education on conditions such as Diabetes, Glaucoma, all forms of Cancer, and issues related to Chest, Heart, and Stroke.

Each workshop offers a unique opportunity for community members to engage directly with healthcare professionals, ask questions in a safe and supportive environment, and learn how to take proactive steps toward better health for themselves and their families. From understanding the early signs of COPD to learning about breast, bowel, cervical and prostate cancer screening and diabetes management, these sessions are empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

This brilliant project would not be possible without the generous support of our funders, Belfast City Council. Their commitment has enabled us to bring these essential workshops to life and make a tangible difference in the lives of people across our community.

We are incredibly proud of the positive impact these workshops are having and look forward to continuing this important work. Thank you to everyone who has participated and contributed to making this project a resounding success!
